    • The system of real estate registration in Japan is unique. The Legal Affairs Bureau is responsible for publicly available, certified registration records, which contain property information, such as the owner, size and location, and existence (or non-existence) of a mortgage. We support our clients in ensuring that procedures for real estate registration are conducted correctly.

  • INCORPORATION and CORPORATE LEGAL AFFAIRS

    • We provide integrated services related to company incorporation in Japan. After incorporation, companies are obliged to make all relevant updates in the official registration records maintained by the Legal Affairs Bureau, such as changing board members, company names or objectives, increasing capital, mergers or corporate separations. We support clients throughout the application process for commercial registration. We also offer services such as, preparing of minutes of shareholders' meetings and minutes of meetings between board members.

  • VISA APPLICATION and BUSINESS LICENCE

    • Our legal expert is qualified as a Shiho-shoshi and Gyousei-shoshi, so we can offer you comprehensive services when you establish your business in Japan. Naoko Takayama (Ms.)

Naoko is a qualified Shiho-shoshi and Gyousei-shoshi. She has an international perspective, having spent 14 years outside of Japan, principally in London.

After working for a Japanese trust bank for several years, she relocated with her family to the UK, where she integrated fully into the local community.

Naoko returned to Japan and two years ago, she successfully passed both exams for Shiho-shoshi and Gyousei-shoshi. On July 25th 2023, Naoko opened her new office.

Naoko has a B.A. in English Literature from Tsuda College. She passed CAE, the Cambridge English Exam Advanced Level (now known as C1 Advanced), and EIKEN Grade 1, the highest grade of Eiken, the most prestigious English language exam in Japan. Naoko also has CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults).
